The Arthritis Foundation is on a mission to guide families in developing plans for living a fuller life through research, self-help informational materials and fundraising events. There are more than 100 different types of arthritis. 1 in 5 people over the age of 18 have been diagnosed by a doctor and by 2030, approximately 67 million people will be living with arthritis. The most common side effect of the disease is inflammation and stiffness of the joints.
